PN Team • 15 hours ago
Early returns show Democrats leading in several North Texas congressional districts. In District 25, Democrat Dione Sims, granddaughter of Opal Lee, leads Republican Rep. Roger Williams. In District 6, Democrat Danny Minton leads Rep. Jake Ellzey, and in District 30, Frederick D. Haynes III leads Republican Everett Jackson for the seat vacated by Jasmine Crockett, who ran for U.S. Senate instead. Republicans currently hold the edge in two races: Rep. Craig Goldman leads Democrat Angela Rodriguez Prilliman in District 12, and Rep. Beth Van Duyne leads Kevin Burge in District 24. These are unofficial early counts.
