Delaware’s At-Large House Race
PN Team • 1 day ago
Delaware voters choose their lone U.S. House representative Tuesday, with polls closing at 8 p.m. EST. Incumbent Rep. Sarah McBride (D), who succeeded now-Sen. Lisa Blunt Rochester and is the first openly transgender member of Congress, ran unopposed in her primary and seeks a second term.
Her Republican challenger is Joseph Arminio, a physician who won a contested GOP primary over business owner John Whalen and former nominee Earl Cooper by about 15 points. Arminio drew national attention after repeatedly misgendering McBride at a candidate forum and being removed from the event over her objections.
