Salt Lake County Offers First-Ever Saturday Early Voting
PN Team • 4 days ago
Salt Lake County held its first-ever Saturday early voting session ahead of Tuesday's midterm Election Day, offering four hours of in-person voting at the South Building of the county Government Center. County Clerk Lannie Chapman said turnout was strong, with many residents voting before Halloween activities with their families. Voters could also register same-day and cast provisional ballots, or drop off completed mail-in ballots, as Saturday marked the final day of early voting. The county's 29 ballot drop boxes remain open through Election Day. Chapman urged voters to participate by any method before polls close at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
